@flyaway mind: thnx! but no one's being fair to the puli kali deal. i tried geting it listed as an authentic art form of kerala, but the art committee too did not like the idea very much. so it's shelved for this year at least. but i'm not going to give up. the good thing about festive seasons is that they repeat every year!

a weird thing that i noticed was the headline in times. "3 indian pligrims killed"...the fact that 11 pakistanis were killed along mentioned somewere end of the lead para...

@moontalk: the whole india - pakistan thing is fed by media propaganda anyway. it's a sort of cyclic self sustaining arrangement i guess - the hatred makes a story sell, and the additional hatred that is generated will make the next story sell better.
you cant really blame them, you know. the press ia a business, afterall.
