..And when it is time to die, I will die in style.
From burning orange to an eerie purple all the way till darkness starts creeping in from the corners - I cant think of a death as grand as the death of the day.
i can never get enough of sunsets .....from all parts of the world..its my fav. time of the day.....just about everything ceases to matter when i watch the sun go down..... you must have read them before but i thought will share emily dickinson's beautiful words with you....
"Nature rarer uses yellow Than another hue; Saves she all of that for sunsets, --Prodigal of blue, Spending scarlet like a woman, Yellow she affords Only scantly and selectly, Like a lover's words."
Lately even Mumbai has been expriencing gr8 sunsets, unfortunately i always reach home to grab my camera late to capture it. :(( BTW wonderful interpretation of death. :)
A coward dies a thousand deaths, a brave guy only once. Days are cowards? :P
All right, I couldn't resist. I refuse to say it was a great picture, because I don't want you getting a swollen head. Watermelon head is bad for your brain.
sunset's one of those amazingly inevitable things in life :) somehow I've always loved sunsets more than sunrises...dunno why, they seem to have this awesome beauty and power about them that sunrises don't. ah well...it could also be that sunsets are more accessible than sunrises :D
Sometimes when I am not worried about getting anywhere, I see frozen frames - Every so often the frozen frame makes a nice picture. Occationally, I'd have the camera handy.

Great sunset, Ah sky, forever changing, great colours
Stunning sunset! Beautiful!
But I don't think of a sunset as the death of a day..... it is more like the birth of an evening :)
