My granny lives in palaghat in one of those low wodden houses with the same barred windows.

I have no grandparents remaining. This is what comes of being the youngest. No one will call you chechi, and everyone else is chettan/chechi. :(

I used to love looking out the window like that, but preferred running outside barefoot, chasing butterflies. Whoa, so many memories, and that from seeing a photograph of someone else's ammoomma. Is this why you like doing it?
