I just got out of watching Chak de India, and I liked it. Brilliantly shot, brilliantly edited, and the songs have purpose.
I liked it because:
1. It did not look like Ta-ra-rum-pum. This one is a REAL sports movie.
2. I love cricket-bashers.
3. Less glamour, more substance – and the girls looked like they played hockey for real.
4. No cheesy romance, or diversions from the central plot.
5. It made gully hockey look cool. (I’ve never seen street hockey for real so far)
6. I watched it on the first day, and it wasn’t a waste of money.
My rating: You go watch it too.

I havent seen Khan's movie in a long time now....the last one i saw must have been Chupke Chupke....long time!!! shall check this one out whenever i can lay my hands upon it...and do I notice TP in the pic??? :)

would you recommend it even to typical shahrukh acting haters? cos i was planning on NOT watchign it only cos i cant stand our leading hero in question.
On a side note - Rush hour 3 is a MUST WATCH!!

I am a king khan hater myself.
He overacts a wee bit here as well, but it kinda goes with the bigger scheme of things in the movie. and yeah fora change he looks like a man.

I am a BIG SRK fan frm school days ut i must admit that lately he was turning to be sort of a drama queen or shud i say king. Wit chak de he did prove that he can evolve himself from time to time and still give quality films.
I watched it, I watched it!
God, I don't think I've shouted for in a movie hall this much ever. This is an out and out Bollywood, and I LOVE it! :D
PS: Apart for the cricket bashers I loved the guy bashing too :D
Am trying to watch this movie...and it is not released here!! :-(
