The turbulance under

the boat-starter, originally uploaded by toothlesswonder.

It was yet another day at work, and he liked to work alone. Below him, the sea was calm, with only a ripple over it’s surface.
The calm intimidated him - It always had something to say.
When he was younger, the sea used to turn funny colors and sober down and then there would be days of plenty.
But now it seemed as if ocean had way too many stories to tell. The last time it was still like this, in minutes monster waves came out of nowhere and took homes and lives and children. And then it was quiet once again – as if nothing had happened.
“What have they done to the world..” He shrugged, and started his tiny boat - It was time to go home.

Calm is intmidating even silence...
I guess why things are so noisy is because everyone likes a refuge. To know others are around. Good bad or ugly...
You are RJing now?

Love the moment u have captured, Bal.
and the words for some strange reason took me back to "the old man and the sea"

Pricky: Bulls eye there, my friend
I'm considered the most noisy guy in the office. But I know, I'm the most noisy when I feel cornered.
(There goes my little secret.)

Moi: thank you.
Old man and the sea is a little too much for a little man like me, dont you think?
but anyway, i love praise. So thank you once again
Now I can sleep a happy man.

nice shot, tooooothless!

how the bright slash of red
on the engine points us
to the real story.

"i am your savior
who helps provide food
for your family
i am the red devil
who needs the oil & gas
which may pollute your sea...

i am the good,
the bad and the ugly."

pinkflowers: It's like this bubble in equilibrium, our world. touch it gently, and it quivers all over until it comes back to the oroiginal stillness.
touch it a little harder, and *plop* it bursts.

Keshi: Thankyou!

ash: Thanks again!

Yamaha - There everywhere! Maybe they could use it for a magazine.Lame comment I know.

Now that everyone acknowledges your skill at looking at the ordinary through a better lens, I must also say that your write-ups compliments the photographs well.

You literally say a story with your pics. Nice work again!

Lash: thanks mate. no, coming to think of it.. i grew up by the sea, and to the fishermen YAMAHA was synonymous with outboard engines. To me the YAMAHA was a great motorbike. they really ARE everywhere.

flyawaymind: From one boat to another. :)
